Halloween Canvas Sign

This is a simple Halloween sign, but I love the way it turned out!!

Supplies Needed

  • Black Canvas
  • Dollar Tree Wood Halloween Cutout
  • White Spray Paint
  • Bow Material: I used black burlap, Halloween ribbon, Spanish moss, and brown wire
  • Hot Glue Gun & Sticks

Instructions:

I bought this black canvas from Michael’s on sale. It was in a 2 pack for only $2.40! I laid the wood cutout down on the canvas and spray painted it white so that the outline of the wood sign would be on the canvas. It turned out great and has a spooky vibe!

Then I made the bow! I used black burlap strips, ribbons loops, and Spanish moss.

I put three strips of black burlap crisscross on the bottom, then added Spanish moss, and then crisscross loops of the Halloween ribbon. You can put as much material in your bow as you want depending on how full you want it.

Then I gathered the material in the middle and tied a brown wire around the middle.

I covered the middle of the bow with a small piece of black burlap.

Then glue your bow to the top of your canvas sign!!
